My New Year’s Resolutions for 2025
As we step into a brand-new year, I’ve been reflecting on where I’ve been and where I want to go. New Year’s resolutions are a chance to embrace growth and challenge myself, and this year, I’m setting some goals that excite and push me out of my comfort zone. Here’s what I’ve got planned:
1. Making the Switch from Adobe Premiere Pro to Final Cut Pro
This year, I’m diving into Final Cut Pro. The thought of learning an entirely new editing software feels a little overwhelming, but I’m ready for the challenge. My computer will finally get a much-needed performance boost because Adobe Premiere Pro was slowing down my computer and crashing. I’m excited about the faster, smoother editing experience that’s waiting for me. It’s time to embrace this change and see where it takes my creative workflow.
2. Blogging More Often
I want to turn this blog into another creative fun space. I want blogging to be another way for me to connect with my audience, and this year, I’m committing to sharing more updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and reflections here on my blog. Whether it’s a peek into my creative process or stories about my latest projects, I’m looking forward to making this blog a regular part of my routine and thank you so much for reading along.
3. Going Live on YouTube, TikTok, & Instagram
This is a big one for me. I’ve always been hesitant about doing live streams and I’ve done a few in the past that went really well, but it’s still something I get nervous with but I want to conquer this year. My plan is to go live when I launch new templates, giving us a chance to create together in real time. It’s a great way to connect, answer your questions, and show you how to make the most of my new designs. Fingers crossed that this will become a fun and engaging way to share my work!
4. Trusting the Process with more New Ideas
Creativity is a journey, and this year, I’m making a conscious effort to trust the process as I explore new concepts, designs, and even more new flowers. Innovation comes from experimentation, and I’m excited to see what ideas blossom when I give myself the space to dream and create freely.
These goals feel both ambitious and inspiring, and I can’t wait to see how they unfold throughout the year. Change can be daunting, but it’s also where growth happens. Here’s to a year of learning, connecting, and creating. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember!
What are your resolutions for this year? I’d love to hear about the challenges you’re embracing and the dreams you’re pursuing. Let’s cheer each other on as we take on the new year together.
