DIY Mini Mother’s Day Card with GLDN

Why I Love These Mini Tulip Cards
I’ve been making these 2D mini paper tulips for a while now, and they never fail to make me smile. There’s something so satisfying about piecing them together—each petal layered like a tiny puzzle.
To make them extra special, I paint the cardstock with soft watercolors before assembling. The watercolors give the flowers a gentle, handmade feel that really pops once everything’s dry and glued down.
What You’ll Need:
Cardstock paper (for petals, stem, and leaves)
Scissors or cutting machine
How to Make It:
Cut your tulip pieces out of cardstock. You’ll need a few petals, a stem, and two leaves for each flower.
Paint each piece with watercolor and let them dry completely. I love blending a few shades of pink or orange for a natural look.
Once dry, assemble the tulip pieces on your card, layering the petals and leaves with a bit of white glue. Think of it like a puzzle—each piece overlaps slightly.
I used two tulips for my design and placed them off-center for a little visual interest.
Add them to your mini card base—and just like that, you have the sweetest handmade gift!
