Handmade Paper Flower Bridal Bouquet

A Handmade Paper Flower Bridal Bouquet: A Love Story in Cream

One of the best things about crafting is getting to be a part of someone’s special moment. Recently, I had the opportunity to create a custom paper flower bridal bouquet for a bride who I believe is having a court wedding. The simplicity and intimacy of such a setting perfectly complement the elegance of handmade paper flowers.

The Bride’s Vision

The bride requested an assortment of cream-colored flowers, each made from high-quality cardstock paper. She wanted six main flowers, each with its own delicate charm. You could also make the flowers with my templates and I will link them below.

The flowers included:

The Process of Creation

Each flower was carefully hand-cut and assembled, ensuring that the petals held their organic shapes and the colors blended harmoniously. Since the bride wanted everything in cream, I played with different paper textures to add depth and dimension. The soft, muted tones reflected a timeless and graceful aesthetic.

To finish the bouquet, I crafted a DIY fabric chiffon ribbon to wrap around the stems. Instead of cutting it cleanly, I made a small snip and tore the fabric by hand. This technique gives the ribbon a beautifully frayed, delicate look—just the right amount of rustic charm for a court wedding.

The Final Touch

Once the bouquet was complete, I stepped back and admired the result. It was soft, romantic, and full of life despite being made entirely from paper. The bride’s vision had come to life, and I could only imagine how she would feel holding it on her special day.

This project was a reminder of why I love paper crafting so much. Flowers fade, but paper blooms last forever—just like the memories they are made for. I hope this bouquet brings joy and beauty to her wedding day and beyond!

If you’re thinking about a custom paper flower bouquet for your wedding or a special event, I’d love to bring your vision to life or you could also make them yourself using my templates linked above. Let’s create something timeless together!
