Paper Succulent Hoarder
I'm currently a paper succulent hoarder! I look for a bunch of pots, planters, and vases via thrifting or target and I just went for it while I'm on my official maternity leave. I did a few trial and error paper succulents like my paper string of pearls and paper zebra cactus. They're my new favorites now! You could also purchase these here for those who can't keep succulents alive in your home like me. The thing is, many people say these succulents are low maintenance but in reality, to keep them small and cute in these small and cute pots, it's impossible (too much water, too little water, too much sun, too little sun...etc). Problem solved: make them with paper!
To be honest, I was a little sad I wouldn't be decorating the nursery with a bunch of paper flowers after finding out it was a baby boy but then I realized, paper succulents! I made a few hanging ones for the nursery and they're my favorite corners in the room. Aren't they perfect for a baby boy's room! You could totally incorporate them into your nursery too and no need for watering or making sure you keep them alive!
I also had a few friends and customers who wanted to give me their own pots and planters they found and wanted me to fill them up with paper succulents, which has been an amazing idea. If you find a cute planter, send it on over and I could help you fill them up with forever paper succulents. These are also great party favors which we made for a wedding recently (in the image above).
